The primary science curriculum encourages students to foster a healthy curiosity and excitement about the world around them. At Adelaide Heath we believe science encompasses the acquisition of knowledge, concepts, skills and positive attitudes. Throughout the programmes of study, the students will acquire and develop the key knowledge and skills in accordance with National Curriculum expectations. Our aim is to build on key foundational knowledge and concepts and encourage rational explanations about scientific processes. The students are immersed in subject specific language to enable development and confidence in using scientific vocabulary to articulate concepts clearly.
