At Adelaide Heath Academy, mathematics education provides a foundation for understanding the world, the ability to reason mathematically, and a sense of enjoyment and curiosity about the subject.

Alongside the National Curriculum, we use White Rose and Power of Maths programs. Through engaging activities, we welcome the students to explore Maths with confidence and enthusiasm. The framework offers 'small steps' progression to help students understand key concepts. The scheme of works provides flexibility and plenty of opportunity for discussion, reasoning and problem-solving. We spend longer on mastering key topics to build student’s confidence and help secure understanding.
