and preparing them to be full and active citizens of society

High Needs Funding

We are looking to improve the system for allocating high needs top-up funding to children and young people with an Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plan in Cheshire East.

We would like views from schools, SENCOs, parent carers and other partners/professionals on this and are holding a number of events to gather your input and work with you to develop an improved model.

Purpose of the events:

  1. To provide an update on a proposed new model for High Needs Top-up funding
  2. To consult and gather feedback on the proposed model and its implementation

Details of dates, times and venues are available in the attached event poster.

Places are limited, so please book your place by emailing SENDpartnerships@cheshireeast.gov.uk with your name, organisation (if applicable) and preferred date and time as soon as possible.

Please help to promote these events by forwarding this email and poster onto colleagues and parent carers of children and young people with EHC Plans (particularly parent carers of children with EHC Plans in mainstream schools).

Thank you
